The development of neural networks has helped train computers to behave intelligently: will they even be able to replace comedians? A very human comedian and an android (neural network) fight it out on the field of humour, mouse in hand, in a semi-serious battle with uncertain results. At the time, no machine was able to pass the Turing test; will it be able to pass the laughter test?
Attending: Silvia Benvenuti, Mathematics (University of Camerino), Paolo Migone, comedian, Linda Pagli, computer scientist as presenter (University of Pisa), Pierluigi Crescenzi, computer scientist (University of Florence)
