Currently in production, Pride Run is an absolutely innovative game, both for the way it works, its genre, a Musical RTS (real-time strategy) game, and for its theme. Players get to lead the Pride procession across several cities, from San Francisco to Pisa (the city hosting the first Italian Pride), Sao Paulo to Moscow, all to the rhythm of music. While being festive and full of colours, Pride Run also describes what it’s like to defend your sexual orientation where it is not accepted. There are loads of different colourful groups, each with different characteristics, along with numerous obstacles and enemies to overcome and resist. The production team, which is completely independent and supported by Pride Entertainment, IV Productions and Steam Factory, includes representatives from the worlds of gaming world and LGBTQI activism in Italy. In many cases, these are the same people. Pride Run will be on show to the public for the first time at Internet Festival.
