Eating is no longer just an act of survival, but has become a social gesture to be shared, narrated, and communicated. Something to find out about, looking for the trends to follow and monitor, and new forms (even virtual ones) to experience. From stories on paper that have made and continue to make history about social eating, from traditional “social” criticism to social networks, a collection of individual and collective experiences to look at to try to figure out which direction the world of food is taking. And follow it.
