Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun 09:00-18:00 // INSTALLATION

Internet can be represented as an iceberg. The tip represents the “Surface Web”, the digital area we all know. The submerged part of the iceberg, which is more than 90%, represents the “Deep Web”, a vast encrypted network that eludes search engines and where total anonymity rules. In the meanders of this non-place, a complex and structured online market of mostly illegal material emerges, where thousands of published listings are accompanied by photographs that are designed to self-delete when they are no longer needed. In the installation, visitors will be asked to navigate in a dark room and explore the depths of this submerged and temporary archive with a UV flashlight provided at the entrance.

The installation is integrated in the Installation Path event and can only be visited by reservation. The event is free and freely accessible until exhaustion.
